Get your piano sounding its best!
Out of tune pianos can have some charm, but there's nothing like playing music on a finely tuned instrument. Temperature and humidity cause the piano to grow and shrink with the seasons, so up here in the White Mountains it is recommended to get a tune every six months to have your piano making beautiful music all year round!
If it has been a few years since your piano was tuned, a second appointment may be needed for the piano to hold its tune. I offer a discount if this is booked within 30 days.

A thorough cleaning can keep your piano looking nice and performing smoothly. This service includes:
- Exterior cabinet cleaning
- Cleaning keys and other interior parts
- Removal of foreign objects like coins, pencils, or that missing sock
- Full vacuuming to remove those pesky dust bunnies
Repairs:
Keep your piano playing at its best!
Through playing and the occasional need to move the piano, parts can wear out or break. Repairs can include anything from a broken string or hammer, to regulating how the piano plays to make the keys feel the way they should.

Hello! My name is Justin McCray. I am a White Mountain local and appreciate being a part of the community up here. I love playing the piano and want to help others on their journey to learning or mastering the piano. My musical interests are focused around learning and playing scores from movies and video games. Some of my favorites include tracks from games like Hollow Knight and Celeste.
I started Ponderosa Pianos because I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to create and share music. I am a certified graduate of the Piano Technician Academy and participate in the Artisan Mentoring program to continue expanding my knowledge in the field.
